Renee Booker is a Council for the Spanish Speaking, Inc. board member and chairs the Finance Committee.  He has a B.A. in Business Administration and Accounting from Lakeland College.  Renee is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Government Financial Manager and earned a Certificate in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. 

Renee is the President/CEO of North Avenue Community Development Corporation.  Prior to this position, he served as the Director of Financial Operations for the Social Development Commission and managed an operating budget of more than $28 million.  Renee also worked for Milwaukee County for 26 years in a number of positions including Director of Finance and Operations for the Department of Aging.  Renee is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association, Association of Government Accountants and Nation Forum for Black Public Administrators.  He also serves on the board of directors of Wisconsin Community Services.
